Centre for Global Health received the African Development Bank eHealth Award
We received one of the first African Development Bank eHealth awards in conjunction with the Ministry of Health and Sanitation, Sierra Leone and World Vision for “Supporting and strengthening maternal, neonatal, and child health services using mobile phones: the impact on community health worker programs”. This is part of a larger 5 country project on improving access to health services for mothers and children under 2, being led by Prof Eilish McAuliffe. Frederique Vallieres who is a researcher on the project accepted the prize in Tunisia on behalf of the team in September 2013.
