Professor Mac MacLachlan awarded a Personal Chair in Global Health

The Centre for Global Health is pleased to announce that Malcolm “Mac” MacLachlan, previously Professor of Psychology at Trinity College Dublin, has been awarded a Personal Chair in Global Health. Mac’s work focuses on social inclusion and global health, with particular interests in disability, culture, and organisational aspects of international aid.

This is the first Chair in Global Health appointed in an Irish University and reflects the growing interest in the area.  Mac continues in his role as Associate Director of the Centre for Global Health and Director of Research in the School of Psychology.
